KCOM is replacing its previous eero 6+ router with Wi-Fi 7 models for new Full Fibre customers. Most packages now include one Amazon eero 7, while the 900Mbps package comes with the more capable eero Pro 7. Existing customers can also upgrade for £24.99, according to ISPReview.
Wi-Fi 7 can move data more efficiently when several compatible devices are online, reduce delays and make better use of crowded airwaves. It won’t increase the speed entering your home, however. A 100Mbps KCOM package remains 100Mbps, and phones or laptops without Wi-Fi 7 will connect using the older standard they already support.
Both routers are managed through the eero app, where you can see connected devices, create profiles, pause internet access and run speed tests. KCOM is also including eero Secure, adding malicious-site blocking, parental controls and ad blocking. Those are more likely to be noticed immediately than the Wi-Fi 7 logo on the box.

KCOM says each eero can cover up to 186 square metres, but that figure won’t survive every wall, floor and awkward router position. One eero also isn’t a mesh system by itself. If your home has stubborn dead spots, KCOM charges £5 per month for another unit, adding £120 across a 24-month contract.
The ordinary eero 7 is a dual-band router and doesn’t use the newer 6GHz Wi-Fi band. The eero Pro 7 adds 6GHz, but KCOM reserves it for the 900Mbps package. Both models have only two Ethernet ports, so homes with several wired devices may need to buy a separate network switch.
KCOM’s current fixed-term Wi-Fi 7 offer in HU1 to HU17 prices 100Mbps at £25.99, 500Mbps at £29.99 and 900Mbps at £34.99 per month. All three come with 24-month contracts and scheduled price increases in March 2027 and March 2028. The advertised offer runs until 7 September 2026.
