Community Fibre has launched a new offer giving new customers twice the usual broadband speed at no extra cost. The promotion covers selected 24-month packages ordered by 14 October 2026 and is available only at addresses reached by its own Full Fibre network.
The cheapest package doubles from 150Mbps to 300Mbps for £19 a month. Pay £21 and the usual 500Mbps becomes 1Gbps, while £25 buys 2Gbps instead of 1Gbps. Premium packages include 2Gbps for £32 and 5Gbps for £43.
These are symmetrical connections, so the upload and download speeds are the same. That makes the 1Gbps package particularly good value if you regularly send large files, back up photographs or videos online, or have several people working from home.

The price doesn’t stay fixed for two years
Community Fibre’s prices rise by £3 a month in April 2027 and by another £3 each April after that. The £21 package therefore becomes £24 next April. Once the minimum contract ends, the price increases by a further £4, so it is worth looking beyond the attractive opening figure.
Existing Community Fibre customers do not receive an automatic speed upgrade. The offer is for new customers and availability depends on your address. Community Fibre’s network currently reaches around 1.4 million homes, mainly across London and parts of the South East.
‘Double the speed’ is an attention-grabbing promotion, but there is a genuinely excellent deal underneath it. Symmetrical 1Gbps for £21 is unusually cheap, even after allowing for the scheduled price rises. That doesn’t make 2Gbps or 5Gbps sensible for an ordinary home, though. For most people, the £19 package already provides far more speed than they will regularly use.
