Sky Mobile’s 30-day SIM deals are back, with 5GB for £11, 25GB for £15 or 75GB for £19 for the first month. From month two, those plans cost £13, £17 and £25 a month respectively. Every option includes unlimited calls and texts, runs on a 30-day rolling basis and can be cancelled at any time. Just don’t rush the order: Sky shows its 24-month plans first, so you must switch to the 30-day option yourself.

More about these SIMs Contract, rollover, roaming, calling and compatibility details
Contract and switching
- Contract: each of these three offers is a 30-day rolling plan
- Cancellation: Sky says you can cancel at any time
- Monthly price: 5GB is £11 for the first month then £13 a month; 25GB is £15 then £17; 75GB is £19 then £25
- Changing allowance: Sky lets you move to a different data plan, but the change may begin a new minimum term and the price may increase during it
- Keep your number: text PAC to 65075 from your old SIM, activate the Sky SIM, then give the PAC to Sky
- Leave without your number: text STAC to 75075 and give the code to Sky when activating if you want the old service closed without transferring its number
- Switching time: Sky says a number transfer normally takes one to two working days and can take longer over bank holidays
- Activation: the SIM must be activated online; Sky says mobile service should be available within 24 hours of activation
Data and extras
- Data rollover: unused data is automatically moved into Sky Piggybank at the end of each billing period
- Keep it for later: rolled data lasts for up to 12 months and can be redeemed only in whole 1GB amounts
- Share it: rolled data can be shared with up to seven SIMs on the same Sky Mobile account
- Rewards: saved data can also be exchanged for selected rewards or money off eligible devices and accessories
- Sky apps: eligible Sky apps can stream in the UK without using plan data when at least 50MB remains; adverts can still use data and downloads are Wi-Fi only
- Tethering: personal hotspot use is supported, with the data used coming from the normal monthly allowance
Calls, texts and roaming
- Included calls and texts: unlimited use covers UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man landlines beginning 01, 02 or 03 and mobile numbers beginning 07
- Not included: 070 and 076 numbers, indirect-access calls, premium and service numbers, international use and other out-of-plan activity can cost extra
- International Saver: an optional add-on discounts calls and texts to more than 60 overseas destinations
- Roaming Passport Plus: in 120 covered destinations, £2 provides 24 hours’ access to the UK allowance and activates after more than 10MB of data, a call or a text
- Closer to home: the UK allowance can be used in the Republic of Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man without the Passport Plus charge
- Wi-Fi calling: available in the UK at no extra plan charge on compatible phones, with calls and texts still using the normal allowance
SIM, phone and network
- SIM-only: these plans supply data, calls and texts but no handset, so you need a compatible phone of your own
- SIM format: the online journey supplies a physical SIM; Sky also supports eSIM on compatible devices, but says customers shopping for eSIM should contact Sky or visit a Sky store
- Phone lock: a phone bought from another provider may need to be unlocked before activating a Sky SIM or eSIM
- 5G: Sky’s 5G Network add-on is free, but requires a compatible 5G device, the add-on enabled and local 5G coverage
- 4G fallback: outside a Sky Mobile 5G area, a compatible phone automatically switches to the available 4G network
- Coverage: mobile service is not available everywhere, so check the places where you regularly use your phone before ordering
What you need to know
Sky’s first-month prices make the choice look simpler than it is. The 5GB plan starts at £11, then costs £13 a month; 25GB starts at £15, then £17; and 75GB starts at £19, then £25. That makes 25GB the obvious value pick for most people: after the first month it is only £4 more than 5GB, while stepping up from 25GB to 75GB adds £8 a month.
Unused data rolls into Sky Piggybank for up to a year, ready for you to use later or exchange for rewards. Sky also lets you change your data package, although there’s a wrinkle: moving to another package may start a new minimum term, and the price can increase during it.
Who can get this deal?
These are personal-use SIM-only deals for people aged 18 or over, subject to status and a credit check. You’ll also need an unlocked, compatible phone. Sky’s checkout is the final word on availability and acceptance, so check the contract length, allowance and monthly price carefully before completing your order.
